- Example of Photo retouching using front projection mapping.

- This scene uses front projection mapping to alter an exiting photo image.
- The technique can be used on consecutive frames of video if the matted area
- is not in motion. Some very expensive looking effects could be achieve if
- the camera is locked down and composition allows for a static area of scene
- to be replaced by a Lightwave rendering.

- For those curious types, the photo is from 31-MAR-45. The B24 was known as
- CONNIE and was part of the 466th Bomb Group base in England. They ditched
- in Holland returning from a raid in Germany. The tall guy standing 2nd from
- the left is my father, Ken Swoboda. He's standing in front of his
- home-away-from-home, the nose turret of the 24. During this landing he had
- the "pleasure of riding it down in the nose" due to electrical failure of
- the turrent motor.
